Good news for delta and speed freaks - the Screamin Demon delta is in production, in stock, and ready to ship!

Want to tear up the flying field and terrorize your buddies with something affordable, exciting, and easy to build? Try a Screamin Demon!

Clocked at over 170mph on a Sport Jett .50, the Screamin Demon is a lightweight high performance delta wing aircraft that builds fast but flies faster. A regular sport .46 Schneurle engine will pull it at well over 100 mph – yet even though it is designed to terrorize your flying field, at speed it is smooth, stable and easy to fly. It is an ideal aircraft for the RC pilot and builder looking for some genuine excitement without hassles or an exotic price tag.

Designer Mike Connor built and flew several delta aircraft before deciding to add his own ideas to the mix to improve the breed. Now produced by MikesRC, the Screamin Demon is designed to handle anything from a strong .25 up to high performance .40-sized engines like the Jett .50 or .60LX, the West Eurotech .50V1 and others, even full-race pylon engines. With a typical flight weight of 3 pounds or less, the Screamin Demon can fly at outrageous top speeds, turn on a dime without snapping out, yet launches and lands easily with its light wing loading.

Construction is familiar balsa and ply plus two tubular carbon fibre spars that form the backbone of the aircraft, and result in a straight, stiff, strong and lightweight structure. The kit includes all laser-cut ply and balsa parts, spars, and wood stock needed to complete the model. Hardware is not included, as many builders have their own preferences and little is needed. The Screamin Demon sells online through MikesRC for $69.95 plus shipping, and is in stock ready to go.

MikesRC has other high speed trouble-making aircraft in development, so stay tuned for announcements!
