Want to get into hobby

Hello everyone,

i want to get a new rc car and i want a Nitro gas one though, i have had one that someone let me barrow and they got it back but know i want to get my own.

i dont want to spend a hudge amount on one somewere around 200 to 250 dollors on one.

does anyone have any ideas on which would be a good one to get?

I Don't know where your from but here in Australia You wouldn't Get a Fuel one for that Little money :p If You haven't ever had experience With tuning one of those engines before, You may find it easier to start with an electric car :) They can go just as fast, You don't really have to do any tuning with them And they're usually a bit cheaper :) That's Just My 5c anyway :) If your still set on a Nitro, Try and get one by a well know brand I.e Team Associated, Traxxas to name a few :)

Welcome to the forums!
First you need to decide if you want a nitro or electric,
electric is is cheaper to run, and generally easier.
Nitro sounds cool and really gets the adrenalin going!
If you get a nitro, I would recommend the Team Associated MGT .21 (or 4.60 or 3.0), they has reverse which a lot of nitro trucks don't.
I have the .21 and it is great! Very fast with 2 speed automatic transmission, quite tough, and it was only $147 used! (they are 3, 4, 5, hundred new)
If you choose electric the Traxxas Rustler is a good one,
jumps well, durable etc.
