View Full Version : Discussion Gyro for EDF jet

Looks like the right place to ask this question.

I have a few EDF jets and would like to experiment with a gyro inside it to help with stability. Anyone that can recommend a good low cost gyro? I think I want to start with one that will help control the roll of the aircraft. The only one I have seen so far is the xmhobbies G401b but not sure if that is the best for me or not.

Airmcn_3 can give you feedback on using a certain gyro for this very purpose.

Yup, Go with a Futaba GY401 on rate mode. Easy to do and works great.
