I have that truck, and I run 2s car lipos from www.hobbyking.com.They are hard cased, 4000mah, and only run $24!
I also bought the ezrun 35amp brushless esc, and 13 turn brushless motor. 2 lipos, esc, and motor ran me less than$150. Works great on this truck!

I have the exact same set up on my Rustlers. Works great.
