Hello,
I would like to make a plug that will complete the connection between the 4 wing servos and the receiver in the fuselage. I have heard of a Hoopes harness, not sure if that's how its spelled. Does anyone have any idea what is a good plug to use? Molex connector from a computer motherboard? Is there something already available for these types of applications? If I haven't made it clear, the point is to have all servos connected to the receiver at one point when you attach the wing to the fus.
thanks in advance for your advice,
Daniel

There are thousands of possibilities but most of the ones I've seen use D-type connectors, as on computer video or serial ports e.g. http://www.esr.co.uk/electronics/products/frame_connectors_multipole.htm
With the jack screws fitted they can be completely locked and they're available from any electronics supplier.

These are good and proven for your need:

2 pins for battery + 4 pins for signals = 6 pins

I am using the Multiplex connector for a 3 servo wing application so, as you say, 5 wires required. What is a good source for different colored SIGNAL WIRES, 24 AWG or 26 AWG, the more strands the better. Colors could be anything except Red and Black. Maybe like Violet, Blue, Grey, Yellow, etc.
Wingspan 3 meter or less. Would also need to extend the Rud and Elev leads so what is a preferred FOUR pin connector?

I would go for the Deans connectors as sold by RadicalRC, and have a look at they range of wires.
Dean black 4-pin connectors :

A plus of RadicalRC is the flat $3.00 shipping rate and I've had good service from them.
