landing craft plans

im new to all this boating stuff and would like to start building my own rc models, i've been trawling through the interweb looking for scale plans to build a landing craft with or without working ramp, what electronic guts to use, if anyone has any scale plans to give for free then please email me (nick28head@live.co.uk) im looking at the model to be around 40" long bow to stern, again thanks very much

Nick, there have been quests similar to yours on this forum before, requesting "free" plans.

While free is good, and there are many plans available, it's doubtful if you'll find exactly what you want without resorting to a purchase.

You might want to try Traplet publications in the U.K. They have a catalog of drawings that is reasonably priced, and it's near to you.

Google what you want and get the dimensions of the boat then draw your own plans. Also look up "model boat plans" on line and see what you can come up with. Pete

what paint do you guys suggest for a wooden model if i make the landing craft out of wood, i looked at many LCA's and decided to put a few of them together
