Hey, I went to my local hobby shop to find a micro switch and they didnt have one. So I walked over to the radio shack across the street to see what they had. I found this little switch and I was hoping that I could make a simple switch out of it, but I am not sure exactly were to connect my wires. I have JST male and female leads for it. Will this switch work?
Thanks!
Link to the product and a picture is attached as well for a closer view.

What exactly do you plan to switch?
For reliability/redundancy, you could also use a double pole double throw (DPDT) switch so that you can use two sets of contacts for switching instead of just one. You could this one sold by RS:

Hm... I see what you have done, but there is no need to connect your grounds (black wires) to the switch. If you had swapped your red wires on the switch, you will short out your battery when switch is in the off position. I attached a few pics that should help...as if you were going to use a DPDT mini switch as I mentioned before...

I tested it and it worked just fine the way I did it. Stroke of luck maybe?

Maybe... I still would remove the black/ground wires from the switch... completely uneccesary (and potentially dangerous). Just keep the two black wires together and shrinkwrap/tape them.
