Amarillo TD

Perhaps the board police won't kick me out for posting this in 2 places... Just wanna give the Amarillo boys a chance to have as much exposure as possible... :D

May 30 & 31 will be the dates for the Amarillo TD contest. A.R.K.S. (Amarillo Radio Kontrol Society... I think) in putting this on. Saturday AM will be 2M. Saturday PM will be RES. Sunday will be unlimited. Practice Friday.

I believe David Reighley is the CD, but I have no contact info for him. I would expect the pilot's meeting to be about 08:30 each day.

The Amarillo club field is Southwest of Canyon, TX, on City Lake Road, about 3 miles north of US 70 which goes out to Hereford TX and on to Clovis, NM... where the end of the world is actually visible... :rolleyes:

Come on, Marc, be POSITIVE!! I've been here 4 years and the wind has quit blowing 2 or 3 times...so all things are possible.

And Jack..we are southwest of AMARILLO, not Canyon. Canyon is the place south of us where YOU find your planes after they are blown away.

It should be a challenging contest! Ya'll come.
