I just download the latest clearview, and have some weird problems.

(1) I am using the Raptor60Easy to practise tic-toc. After a few tic-tocs, and I want to bail out, it seems I have almost no control over aileon/elevator input. The same thing happens when I apply full throttle just to ascend, the aileron/elevator inputs just behave weird. I now even have difficulty in just flying figure 8s.

(2) sometimes after pressing the spacebar to reset, the Raptor60Easy has unwanted aileron or rudder inputs when I take off.

I do not have these problems in the much older clearview version that I downloaded two years ago.

Any idea?

I do not think what you describe is a problem at all. I think that you are stalling the main rotor. On most helis, applying a lot of pitch together with a lot of cyclic will stall the main rotor. The head rpm on Raptor 60 is not that high and the model is not set for all out 3d (and tic-tocs require hot setup).

On issue #2: - After reset, make sure you properly spool up the main rotor. If you try to lift off too soon, the model may tip over just as what would happen with a real model.

The new version physics are much more realistic and the models are less forgiving and much close to what a real model will do. And if you think the tic-tocs on real models are easy, I will tell you they are not.

Thanks for your advice. I have switched to Raptor 90 and it is night and day difference.
