I had a look but can't find a thread which deals only with the aerial defenders of Australia & our neighbours.
Can anyone post a starter?

Can be any nationality that put it's hand up to fight for us.

So - Aus. NZ. Dutch, US, Sing., etc.

I've seen heaps of models around this forum which are truly inspirational,
It would be great to see them here as a mark of respect to the champions of the cause.

a nice scale version, (not VQ scale) of a boomerang would inspire me,
especially if it was in kit, or arf form that i could have a crack at.

Here are a couple of pics of a P 47 PSS that I built a few years ago.
Haven't flown it for a while though.
With short stubby wings and that big fat body it needs a good wind around 18 knots.
