Five or six years ago it would of been simple to answer the question of will X model of transmitter work with Y brand of interface, however these days there are so many of these RTF bundles coming with their own propriety transmitters that unless someone has the same TX and has used it with X Y or Z interface, no-one will be able to give you a concise answer.

Looking at the images on the link you provided there is no obvious port on the rear or side of the TX that permits the TX to be interfaced with a PC. However as the list of compatible models supported by the interface includes the 2801 supplied with your heli, I guess that somewhere there is a mini - din socket to connect it. If it doesn't then you should be able to return the item for a refund.

That simulator looks fairly decent for a rookie pilot, and if you have never flown a heli before than I would suggest you practice on the sim first before trying it for real with that heli, which would not be my ideal choice for a beginner. IMO you would of been better off buying a Blade CX2 (http://www.simplyt-rex.com/rc-helicopter/helicopters/ready-to-fly/blade-cx-2?gclid=COrpjOH21ZoCFQeF3godnGmRKw) to master the basics on and then progress to something like the Walkera you have ordered. A brushless CCPM heli would not be my ideal beginners heli to train on
