Blimpduino, an Arduino-compatible autonomous blimp, is now available (https://www.makershed.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=mkca1) for pre-order at MAKE magazine's Maker Shed for $89.
It will also be available in the DIY Drones store starting in June (Make bought the whole first production run).

The BlimpDuino kit is a very low cost, open source, autonomous blimp kit. It consists of an Arduino-based blimp controller board with on-board infrared and ultrasonic sensors and an interface for an optional RC mode, a simple gondola with two vectoring (tilting) differential thrusters, and ground-based infrared beacon. Assembly is required, including soldering.
We will begin shipping the week of May 25th.
Please note: This kit requires (not included) Helium for blimp envelope, (1) 7.4 Lipo battery and charger, 9V battery. Also you can expand it's capabilities by adding a 3 channel Remote control unit if desired. Please read below for more information about these items.
Features
17 grams, with ultrasonic and IR sensors.
Controls two motors and one vectoring servo.
Built-in RC compatibility (can read two RC channels--throttle and steering)
Designed for a 7.4v LiPo battery; has an automatic power cut-off at low voltage to protect the battery
