I am looking into buying a video link and like to know opinions and what i should espect to pay.
The video link I am looking for would include ; transmitter, reciever , antenna's so no camera's or screens.

Since i do not have desided if i would use 2.4 mhz i think i like to chose a diferent band for the video link.

Range 15 to 20 km.

So what do you guys use?

thanks

Hmm.
Atleast $600.
Your best bet is 900mhz if you need big range and can't use 2.4ghz.

I would go and ask the FPV crowd really. I believe in Europe 2.4Ghz and 10mw out is all thats legal for video.

2.4 GHz controls for the aircraft will not have 15 to 20 km range. how much do you need for UAV?
Theoretically 900 MHz for Video will give better range and penetration than 2.4 GHz all else being the same.
Practice has proven that 2.4 GHz video links are far superior. Probably because of being newer generation and employing better filtering.
Gary's advice is very smart. The FPV guys have done a lot of work along these lines.
