Bigges bang for $130

Hi guys

I'm new to electric boats but I have flown R/C aircraft for years. I
thought that it would be fun to try an electric boat too. Now I have
$135 for motor, esc and 2 batteries (3would be perfect I think). It
would be a scratch-build mainly using carbon fiber, fiberglass, balsa
and plywood. I suppose it should be a mono V as I am planning to use it
on both a river and a lake. Faster is better :D I'm also planning to use
it as a little fishing boat for pulling bait behind it (I assume that
pulling power is opposite to speed. Maybe using different pitch screws
would help?

I would use a suitable amp rating SuperSimple ESC (convert it to water
cooling).

I am using the 70 amp version of this ESC with the HXT 36-56 2700kv
Brushless Inrunner motor, below. I have 2 - 4200 MAh batteries supplying
14.4 volts. I did not water cool the ESC and have found that it barely gets
warm to the touch. I can recommend this combination. I have it in a 27"
rigger and it is very fast. I don't know that it will do very well pulling a
fishing bait, as it is pretty fast even at part throttle. For boats, I
prefer NIMH batteries to Lipos. They are cheap enough that I can afford
several packs for each boat and I don't have to worry when charging them.

But what about using http://tinyurl.com/qfhmny this one. When I add
watercooling (wrap a pipe around it), it would be as good as the water
cooled $45 one and be $15 cheaper?
