If you know of some easy to build and durable designs. Post a link, or better yet, start a new thread.

the MS composit warbirds are great for combat.

they are made of EPP and if they crash you can just pick them up and fly again.

I dont know much mre because i dont usually fly in combat style but i have watched these things and they are great.

I like blue foam as well but it cant take much of a beating like EPP can.

well in the UK flying wings have some thick stuff, 30mm is the thickest sheet and they also do a block which is box shaped.

Heres a source for EPP Sheets in the US. They also sell some carbon.

There are others that you can find through google.

This thread has lots of good information about working with EPP, sources, and tips and tricks, as well as free plans. Of course that information will be useful to the RC combat arena.

http://www.rcskyflyer.com/ and http://www.rcfoam.com/ are where I get my EPP from. I think my teachers from my childhood finally found a way to force the metric system on me as EPP seems to only be sold by millimeters.

I like blu-Cor PBFs. Easy to make, Easy to fly, and pretty dang durable.
I also use Perma R foam from lowes to make a high wing pusher design.
