I am looking for a brand new Kyosho RC surfer and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg. Does anyone know where I can get one? I went to RCSURFRIDER.COM but the website is a ghost-town from the looks of it.

I looked on ebay.....I would like to spend $300.00 or less. Even that seems way to high.

If you are really set on a Kyosho you are going to pay a premium. Kyoshos are the best design out there with the original "dude" being top rated followed by the "Lisa". I have two "dudes" one brushed the other brushless and surf them both frequently. The original designer of these boards sold the design to Kyosho. He is located in Australia and afterwards made a very similar surfer known as the Tubey. As of about a year ago I believe that he still had some in stock. These too were not cheap but they are quality units. I don't have his website but if you google RC Surfer you may find it. Finally you have probably seen the cheap NQD "Lisa" knockoffs on Ebay. I have read in some forums that once modded these can be pretty good surfers but they do require some work as all of their electronics need to be stripped. Either way to effectivley surf in Hawaii (or any where else) you are going to drop some coin. Good Luck.
