Venom 3000 Nimh for Rx w/ MPI Regulator
Hitec 333oz. Tg servos full house.

Weight 19 Lbs.

Flying time ( Pattern Style ) 8 min. with 2 reserve.

Plane looks great!!! If you're happy with it on 10S, you should try that setup on 12S. It a whole new beast!!!!

Ordered (2) 2S 4900 last week, should have them soon, yeah I can't wait for the first flight on 12S.

i have the same plane with a crrc pro 50cc engine. i do have a 100 amp speed control laying around that can take 10 cell and i'm interested in converting that plane to electric. how long of a flight time did you get? how was the vertical?

I get a 8 min. flight with 2 reserve if I am doing pattern style flying. When I do 3D flights I limit myself to 6 min. with 2 reserve. The vertical is great, I have my ATV limited to 70% and I can go for 5 sec. bursts at full throttle and it is pretty gratifying.

I'm flying the Hyperion YAK 180 size on 12S with the Hyperion motor and 90A ESC --
I have an AUW of just under 15lbs. Getting solid 8 minute flights with a Vess 22 B prop -
Mine flys like a well behaved foamy -- yours should be a BLAST w/ 12 cell! ! !
How does the APC prop perform ?? What RPM are you turning at full draw ??

I was going to ask you the same about the Vess prop. I like the looks of them, but I've not heard how the perform.

Hey Aero.. nice plane
I have a dietrich 260 with neu motor 1521 1.5y, 12s 5000 30c pro power, 24x12 apc, CC110HV

with my new packs I'm getting 4800 watts! and 110 amps! to much power

So like you I cut my ATV down to 60%.. it is working well
but I've been warned by Tam at tam jets (big time electric jet guy)

not to use a throttle limit and just prop down.. but I really like having a booster button. He tells me that the ESC really heats up at half throttle

What do you guys think? I really like having the ATV cut down and have the power there if I want to use it.. just don't want to smoke the ESC

15 LBS is very possible on that plane (hyperion yak 180e)
