Hi,
You are looking at my Proboat PT-109. Over a period of time I have done several subtle and not so subtle improvements to this boat and renamed it PT-343. It more correctly identifies with a mid to late war Pacific operations PT boat. Improvements are as follows: brass props, replacing cruddy plastic ones, different antenna masts installed, John Haynes lifeboat, 20-L camo paint scheme (4 different colors),added control linkages for the exhaust mufflers, added stanchions at stern, removed, glassed in unscalelike water outlets and installed scale sized outlets (port and starboard). It also has the LED running lights for port and starboard as well as a masthead lamp. Truly looks a little different than the run of the mill proboat pt boat. It does draw attention and is quite fun to run. The boat has only been run a handfull of times, cleaned off after every run.
Included in the sale is the stock radio that comes with it, all documentation and the original box. The boats sell for around $469.00 or so new. Here is a link to Horizon Hobbys website describing the boat http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PRB3600 This one is about 1 year old. Its really a nice scale boat and will make a nice one to display or run, your choice.
As for payment, I will accept cash (pickup only) money order, personal check or even paypal. If you insist on paying via paypal I insist you pay for their greediness (3%) The asking price is $275.00 I will set shipping at a flat $25.00 anywhere in the lower 48. Anywhere else and it will have to figured after the sale. I also do insist on some sort of payment within seven days after your offer is accepted. Otherwise I will put it back up for sale. If you would like to inspect it prior to purchase, we can set up a time for that as well.
Thanks for looking!
