yep hence tf72. san diego has the 96th fleet which is all 1/96th

It would be nice to see some photos of the TF-72 gathering.

Task Force-96 is based in Long Beach California, since 1984. San Diego has 8th Fleet.

Didnt make it Im sorry, I sent an email enquiring when it starded and did not get a reply, so went to our club day instead, John W. brought down his 1/72 battle ship so all isnt lost :D

hi all, sorry about the mixup with the threads. but anyhow here are the photo's from 10th may.it was a good day,nice and warm and not much wind around.plenty of spectators and inquiries. All had a good time.

Hi All,
Some pics from tf72 running day on 19th july at Springfield Lakes venue.
Weather was warm and sunny,a nice day for winter.

G90 = HMAS ANZAC

H25 = HMAS Tasmania

WW1 vintage destroyers serving in the North Sea( I think)

D22 = HMAS Waterhen. Dubious distinction of being first Australian vessel destroyed by enemy action in WW2.
