Has anyone ever used one of these with a simulator? Specifically, I am trying to program a model so that it doesn't transmit on 72mHz, but sends the signals out the trainer port. According to the manual, programming the model for simulator should disable the 72mHz transmit and (I would think) send the signals out the trainer port instead. I have tried this and am not getting any voltages or anything on the trainer port. I also tried various combinations of "simulator" and "trainer" settings and still don't see anything on the trainer port.
Ultimately, I would like to attach a 2.4gHz module (like the Assan Hack module) to the trainer port. But I need to figure out how to disable the 72mHz transmission while enabling the trainer port.
