I am posting this in two places so all can enjoy. Hope no one gets upset.
Just dropping a note for history. My Father was a computer enginer on this bad boy in the late 50s. http://nadcmuseum.org/
All though no longer in use it has been restored and will be opening to the public in August. I recently went to their open house to see what I never got to see as a kid. My Dad told me of all the space men (as I called them) (astronauts to us now) when I was 5 or 6 that came there to train for flying in rockets. Mercury, Gemini and Apollo all trained there. Not to mention some great photo and history of the Brewster Buffalo aircraft built the in the 40s. And many many other very cool looking planes and hours of reading. I curruntly fly my models on what is left of the runway (about 1/2 mile) Here is a few pics I took just last week but there are better ones on the site. There is even some curde plans for building a model of the Brewster Buffalo.
Bet you did not know that the FIRST F3A Brewster was one of the first Corsairs. See the pic of it flying at Johnsville.
Enjoy
