I bought a couple of these incredible models from Vietnam and in order to make sense of the shipping and customs clearance costs, I imported 5 additional models to sell. These were designed as "museum quality static models" but are also sold asl "RC Ready" which means they have access and space to convert to RC. They are truly awesome.
You can see them at the Mfgs website below. The models I have currently still available are:
Riva Ariston, Aquariva, Typhoon, and Baby Bootlegger.
I also have a "Baby Bootlegger" with a speed 400 installed "RTR" with your
radio equipment. This one has an issue when at speed, in that the prop
cavitates (either positioned wrong, or wrong size/pitch)
The "RC Ready" models are $375 plus shipping. The RTR Baby Bootlegger can go for $425 plus shipping.
Look at the website, these are truly awesome with real stainless fittings, bezeled gauges, hand laid plank on frame construction, hand stitched leather, and incredible detail.
