Is it possible to "add" channels?

I have a Futaba Skysport 6A for sport flying, but I am unlikely to ever need the buddy switch, so would it be possible to add a channel to the Tx and replace the switch with a 2/3 position switch?

Flap channel on the 6A is with a proportional dial, which is ok, but an extra switched channel would be handy.

My guess is that its not possible

Thanks for that. Probably beyond my soldering skills, perhaps I can find someone who would do it for me. Still, handy to know, I'll have a word with a couple of electronically minded club members.
