Starter PLane?

I am considering an RC Plane (electric) and would appreciate any advice. Which is most likly to result in successful flight? The Merlin, easy Star, Mini Mag, the Easy cub? Doesn't it make sense to start with one that has ailerons? I have been frustrated by the learn to fly software and am hoping that the real thing will be more satisfying.

The easiest models to learn to fly on are the ones that just have rudder and elevator controls. Out of the list you posted above the #1 choice would be the easy star. Once you get the basics down on how to control the model and you have sucessful flights and landings then you can look for a model with aileron control as well.
