Bases for designing a tail dragger landing gear

Hi people, does anybody knows hot to design a tail dragger landing gear?

I mean, how far from de CG the main wheels must be, the inclination and length of it, the angle of attack of the landed plane, etc.

The calculations for a real plane will be greatly welcomed.
