Just looking on the Peck Polymers site for covering options for some projects and came across light span and aero span. They appear to be similar. Are there any views about which is better or easier to use? I am planning on using this on small IPS powered planes, no more than 30 inches in wingspan. They are RC but I thought I might have better luck here than in the scale forum.
Another question, are they more opaque than tissue? That is my other covering option. Thanks

If you mean "Litespan" and "Airspan" (both by Solarfilm) they are similar but Litespan is already coated with a resin sealer so you can get away without doping it. Airspan needs dope to seal it. They both look a lot like tissue when finished, not really particularly opaque.

OTOH there are lots of things called XXXXspan so if "light span" and "aero span" are something else then I'd don't know anything about them, sorry ;).
