Good morning everyone!

Well, I have started my Springer! I'm going to keep it to the correct specs for hull shape, drive train but the rest is, well, is going to be quite different. I hope what I'm going to do won't offend the 'purist' in the springer world! :D

The hull has its first layer of glass and I'm well on my way with the 'pilot house'.

I'll post more pictures as I progress.

Interesting wheelhouse design Joe!...

You may want to show your build in the 'Springer thread'... ;)

Toesup,

Good idea! I think this might be a interesting build. I'm going to go lightly on the hull because we have seen that stuff before. OK?

is that the "springer hull is a springer hull" theory joe?

Good start. You mentioned before you might come down for one of our fun runs. May 9th 10:00am, at the West Bloomfield Aquatic center. Hosted by the city for our club, open to the public. Anybody with a boat is welcome. Farmington rd north of maple.

Don't do it, it will get lost.

Heavyhauler,

I have the date on the calender. I want to get my 'workboat' wet and my PT109 wet also! I'll try to get my buddy Floyd to come but he just bought a really sweet 16' 1941 Chris Craft and I think his focus has changed from his models to his new 'project'. We'll see!

Thanks again for the invite :)

Joe
