I heard a few guys say that the white leds are to "blue " in nature ...


I found this dont know how it works ,havent used them ..but Its Stated that they have a color Temperature of about 2940 Kelvin....I use 7000-10,000 Kelvin on my aquariums is blue enough to notice ..these Led's should produce a glow similar to a frosted incandesent bulb..

Warm whites look great. Got mine at Walthers (model RR supplier). They come in two sizes, too. Here are some on my Vacutug Rosco. You can see the difference from regular white LEDs ("blue-white") on the masthead and on the barge to the left of the pic.

that's 'cos "white" LEDs are just blue LEDs with a blob of phosphorescent compound over the diode.
