Hi

I wondered what you think about having something else than those typical gliders and beginner motor planes - they are so boring.
So I have sketched a real UAV. Data can be seen from the attached info.

Originally I had thought about an easy to fly "spyplane" model - not one of those superfast and miniscule racers. Then I thought that one could also use the same airframe for FPV and perhaps as a small amateur UAV. With a load of nearly one kg it should offer sufficient capacity for equipment.

The model will be built mainly from foam and GRP (no moulds initially).

Looks nice, W. I like the high aspect ratio wings and pusher design. Looks like it might work with a pusher prop as well.

Me as well, that's why I build it. Can be used as a trainer for EDF with short wings and with the medium wings for FPV. In the long span version I could imagine a motor flying time of around one hour with corresponding range and height. Perhaps a new job would be to deliver post cards to your loved one :-)

Build 2 and I'll buy the other one ;)

The "other one" puzzles me

Ah, now I understand! - it's certainly something one could discuss in the future

Hehe

I didn't know that they liked it that much and I hadn't seen those before.
great minds think alike :D It was the Germans again who build this lay-out first, the prototy however ditched in the water off Spain :)
