Does Anyone Have A Set Of Aquila Plans ? I Need The Stab Incidence Angle.
I Have To Build A New Fuse After A Servo Failure . I Traced The Profile And Marked Thru Both The Wing And Stab Rod Holes , But I'd Like To Put An Incedence Meter On It Just To Be Sure .

Jetmavin:

The plans show zero incidence between the stab and the fuse centerline ( wing has positive incidence). Incidently, the plans are available from either RCM Plans or from Aeroshere. I love the Aquilla, still think its one of the best.

Another approach is to just tack glue the fairings to the sides of the fin until you get the plane trimmed. Then you can permanently attach them so they are perfectly aligned with the stab.

My Aquila has a full-flying stab. Are there different Aqulias?

no , all aquilas have a flying stab . i'll just rely on the marks i made ,thru the tracing of the side slabs , on to the pattern for the new fuse . i agree that waiting to glue the stab fairings in place untill it's trimmed out is a good idea .
