What a better way to spend Easter Sunday but with the family down at the local testing grounds maidening my new unobtanium competition 2.5M RES glider. It doesn't get any better than this. Family had fun, kids had a blast, and the glider ended up flying like no glider I've ever owned.

She likes to be flown tail heavy I found out. She signals lift very well and will slow down to a snails crawl. By the end of the day I was getting 130 yard 30 second flights in turbulent 8mph winds. She really settles down after launch and gets on track quickly. I cannot wait to get her in contest next week.

Next time out will be on the hi-start, then it's showtime!

:D

Here's some vids. Sorry for the bad quality, the autofocus feature seems to either not work or not work very well as the plane flies towards the filmer(video-woman.) Going to scout out new equipment tomorrow. :o

TIA, congrats on your maiden. I flew my newly completed Riser 100 from the hi-start for the first time last Thursday. My favorite part was just after the line released and the bird is free. The winds up there were about 12 mph and the plane seemed to just hover there like a big condor! It was just beautiful. It stayed there with almost no input from me. And mine is purple too! Don.
