Here's my back-up set in case I screw up the first one!

My favorite part is the motor mount, but don;t ask me why. I just like the way they look.

What are you building Ted? Judging from the chord of the wing ribs vs the former widths, I'd guess it's a bipe. Looks like you put a lot of time in the CAD design.

Don,
Thanks for the kind words.

The fuse looks so big because it is a Critical Mass version of the Sea Fury. Clipped wings and all. I'm hoping to lower the AUW with a few changes like fewer ribs and better wood selection to keep the wing loading down.

Hopefully it wil go together quickly once it hits the building table.

I should have guessed - I know you like Sea Furys. Can't wait to see it in the air. What do you plan on powering it with?

Don,
I plan on using a 14 turn AF010 for now, but there are a number of other options, like the razor 400. Maybe Li-Polys if I can get it all sorted out.

I started on Sea Furies because Paul showed me a picture of Miss Merced. I didn't even know what type of plane it was!

I started Critical Mass because I figured I only had to adapt the plan I had.

After smoothing out the fuse, clipping the wings and changing the tailfeathers completely, the only thing that seemes to be the same is the start of the nose! ;)
