Hi Guys,
I just got in some more magnets, similar to the ones I use to hold on the Do 335's tail.

If you have any interest, the web site is:

I certainly have some extras if someone wants to look or experiment.

The pimple on Lincoln is a 1/32x1/32 disc. Not sure what it's good for, but they sure are cool!

The larger 1/14 by 1/16 discs are almost brutally strong. Would certainly hold on a wing for a park flyer!

Ted would they work to hold a canopy closed ?

On my 1/4 scale Ka8b, I installed the canopy with hinges, so it opens to the side, and am looking for something to hold it in the closed position.

Bright as I am, I covered and painted the fuselage, before it occurred to me that I would need some kind of canopy latch. :o

Michael,
They almost certainly will. The trick will probably be getting one that isn't too strong!

Don Leitz used some of these to hold on a canopy for one of his planes.

I won't be to the field next week, as I am going to Toledo. If you can wait until we meet, I can bring some various sizes.

If you can't wait, Radio Shack has sets of "rare earth magnets", of one size only that may do the trick.
