Aquacraft or ProBoat?

Just want to see which people prefer.

If you are thinking fast vee hulled boats, then go with the ProBoat Formula Fastech as it is much more stable, and also has nicer scale looks than the AquaCraft Supervee which just also happens to like to flip upside down alot.

conversely, if you're thinking about the small hydroplanes, I think Aquacraft has the edge. The Miss Vegas seems to be designed more for stability, while the Pro-Boat hydros seem to be more "scale" in appearance. IME the Pro-Boat hydros get hard to handle if pushed much faster than stock.

From a radio perspective, I prefer AquaCraft, since most of their boats use a Futaba radio on 75 MHz (some use 2.4 GHz). ProBoat uses 27 MHz AM radios for most of their models.

Pro Boat seems to have a lot of really nice "Scale" boats in their inventory. And though Aquacraft has Futaba gear in most of their offerings, Pro boat runs the gamut of great drive gear in theirs. ie water cooling, brushless, some really nice fast electrics, wooden runabouts. For my 2 cents worth, I give pro boats the edge. :cool:

i was deciding betwen the villan ex and the fourmula fast tech but then i relized
the villan ex will top out at 25mph and the fourmula fast tech is garanted 30mph
out of the box and the sv 27 dont like ruff water and thats all i got to boat on around here in co so i say FFT for sure

There is no comparison between the Traxxas Villian EX and the ProBoat Formula Fastech. The Fastech is clearly the superior boat between the two.
