I got one of these, and it broke and I sent it in for repair. I could
usually start my truck without much hassle, but after suing the eliminator
it took almost 3 minutes of continuous cranking to get going. Do I need to
adjust the fuel settings or the idle setting?
Also, the clutch on my truck engages once the motor is started. How can
I loosen this clutch?

First of all, we don't know what you got. For the cranking problem, have
you primed it before you start cranking? I take off the pressure line
(fuel tubing that goes from the fuel tank to the exhaust pipe) and blow in
it until I see the fuel go through the fuel tube and into the carb. Or you
can put your finger over the exhaust tip and crank. That will do the same
thing.
