Wow, I wouldn't have thought that was way off base for a price. I guess I
wouldn't begin to tell you how much my Nitro MT Racer, Ofna 9.5 Pro buggy,
Super Nitro Rally, Rush, Baja Bug, RS4 3 Type SS, Savage, Titan, TC3 or my
Kyosho Turbo Inferno are all worth. Hell, I have at least a $1000 in my MT
Racer, or the $700 in the Rush and about $850 in the Baja Bug.

truck imagine a Stadium Truck crossed with a monster truck)

You can still get 'em new.... just gotta build 'em yourself! :)

I had a Wild Dagger, it performed like the classic entry-level Tamiya
cars... poorly.
Also, after a few hop-ups, I was locked into the non-adjustable pinion
choices that
Tamiya gives you.

Don't get me wrong.....mine is used a bit, but not beaten up either. I
doubt you can find the 48p gear adaptor or the steering enhancement kit for
it anymore as well. Mine has these hop-ups.

"So how much do these things cost?"
I will most likely tell them the basic kit price of the one I am driving at
the time.
Not the price of the Loaded T-Maxx or XXX NT.
The tuff one to play-down is the Schumacher Big-6, with the OS .40
fourstroke.
That thing just looks and sounds expensive!
