I'm considering entering the contest... But I'd like to find a bit more about this Mini Yak. :)

(Seriously, I can't find any info on the site...)

Here's a thread on this site dedicated to the Mini-Yak:

I have an E-Flite Park 480 motor in mine, swinging a 12x6 APC Slo-Fly prop using a FlitePower Evo 20C 1345 pack. Great performance with this setup!

Any threads on the Fun Yak? Searches come up empty for me.

I made a quick search also and couldn't find any threads. I don't have a Fun Yak but am thinking about getting one. According to Ken from PAU, the Fun Yak flies like a foamy, much more so than the Mini Yak. Ken said a Hacker A20-20L or equivalent would be an excellent choice for the Fun Yak. Based on its size and weight it looks like you could go with a smaller motor as well, like an A20-26M. I'll see if I can find any more information on the Fun Yak; at a package price of 2 for $49.99 that is a pretty good deal! You can fly the first one like you hate it and have a second airframe ready to go in case your thumbs can't keep up with your brain. ;)

I would NEVER buy a backup airframe just for parts! Who does that? (ok, I'm guilty) :D

I did some more searching on the Fun Yak and still could not find any information. I know there have been some orders placed for the Fun Yak so I will be setting one up and starting a thread on this bird so people can share their setups. Looking forward to it!

The contest is for orders placed by May 7th and the winners will be announced on May 8th.
