I am looking at the Exceed F-18. How much flight time are you guys getting on a charge in more or less, stock configurations?

My buddy had one until he had a lock out (pcm), but he was getting 5-6 mins not full throttle 100%, but mixing it up throttle wise. Really nice flyer, easy to land as well.

If your talking about the 70MM version I fly mine all stock with no landing gear. I get 5 to 6 mins on a stock size pack with some (but not much :D throttle management. This plane flies awesome and is one of my favorites!
I know a few of my friends are gonna get one after seeing mine fly. Hope that helps.
David.

Heres an easy way to figure flight time - If your lipo is a 1300mah, take 1.3 * 60 = 78 , now divide 78 by the amp draw at WOT. If you are pulling 20amps at WOT , 78 / 20 = 3.9 . So you can expect about 3.9 minutes of flight time since you wont drain the battery to 100% and you wont be flying at WOT the entire flight.
(1300mah) 1.3 * 60minutes = 78 , 78 / 20amps = 3.9 minutes
(2200mah) 2.2 * 60minutes = 132 , 132 / 20amps = 6.6 minutes

thanks guys.. I guess I was thinking I would get times like I get with my Parkzone T-28. About 12 -14 minutes airtime. The EDFs must pull harder on the battery.. I do want a EDF so I guess I will have to include the price of a couple of extra batt packs.

EDF's arent nearly as efficient as a prop. The cool factor of a jet costs you in flight time and $.
