ArduPilot 2 requires a SirfIII chip set. This one won't work.

But since it is open source, couldn't he adapt the code to make it work? ;)

Right, I can lay my hands on one of these

http://www.usglobalsat.com/p-57-br-355-gps.aspx

Its Sirf-III and I can get the pinouts (shown on the page)

or does it really have to be a EM-406

Ronnie

now to find a Co-Pilot........

I use a similar GPS mouse called Holux GR-213 with SiRFstar III chipset, is working perfectly !

Thank you, thats saved me about £30 from buying the 406 board

Now all I need is a cheap Co-Pilot sensor board!!!

Well Ive got the GPS and it powers up OK and locks, but because the ArduPilot only has 1 serial port how can I check that it is working (the blue light keeps flashing on the main board), is there some kind of debug program I can run??

Thanks
