I'm trying to modify my stock p-16 nqd rc boat into a brushless boat, and I wonder if anyone has any suggestions for the modification.

-I would like to thank in advance to anybody who gives suggestions

You might want to make it so that there is only one motor and look at proboats blackjack since they are similar. You want the least amount of weight as possible so if you make it brushless or not go with a lipo battery.

alright, but how do I fill up the holes in the sides from the other two motors?

also where is the cheapest place I can get the motor, shaft, prop, rudder, servo, and esc? Sorry for the bugging, I just don't want to run my wallet dry. :p

You can use jb weld. Put masking tape on the outside and put the glue on from the inside and once it dries and you peel the tape off it will be smooth. You should also use the glue to join the two halves of the hull if they aren't already. For the motor and esc go to hobbycity.com and for the rest of the running hardware go to towerhobbies.com and get the new parts from the aquacraft miss vegas hydro. Then choose any normal size servo you like.

oh and I almost forgot, how many batteries do I need for the motor? 1 or 2?

It depends on what your esc can handle. I use a castle creations hydra 120, so I try to use the most power possible. Right now I am using an 11.1v and a 7.4v lipo, but the esc can handle up to 25v or up to a 6s lipo. For example you can run one 22.2v lipo or two 11.1v lipos in series.

ok, but I am going to try and use the aqua craft super vee 27 brushless combo on www.offshoreelectrics.com, and it says to use 12.4v-14.6v battery pack to power it, so I think that it means to grab two of the 7.2v, but it could also mean to grab just one, and that those voltages are the top. If you have a super vee it would be nice if you could tell me if it requires one or two battery packs. If not I will just use 2 of them, only unless someone else advises me other wise.

Lucky for you I had a super vee, until I recently sold it. It does require two battery packs unless you make the y connector into one plug. I also used that combo in two other boats and it is pretty good but it's not that fast and for your boat like my miss vegas it is a little to big. You can use it, and if you do two 7.4v lipos would be better.

what kind of lipo, a 2s, or 4s and so on, and also, how much mah? Where did you get them

For the super vee system use two 2s lipos and I would go with 4000mah or so. If you are looking to spend around $100 for two batteries go on ebay and look for venom 7.4v 4000mah lipos.
