Hello, Its a nice idea !! right micro Solar Powered rc Helicopter ... anyone that has some time and experience to work with me !!! just comment or PM me ... nothing is impossible with work ... every invention was a dream before it became a fact ... be optimistic and hopeful ...

its not going to work because of the surface area required to generate enough power for a helicopter to fly. it has been discussed before

Not impossible, but very difficult and only if you have access to the currently sensitive or classified solar cells (80% efficient, that I know of). If I remember correctly publicly available solar cells are only

You’d also have to have ultra efficient electronics, motor, esc, battery control electronics, servos. All better than 95% efficient.

So, to say it's NOT going to work is a little premature. It's just extremely difficult.

where are your solar cells going to be? rotor blades? winglets? tail boom? canopy....all of the above?

One thing to think about using along with this is piezo circuits imbedded in the rotor blades. the problem is that they are very high potential and low current. Also, it's not a constant current. Once the material discharges it must relax to reset. This can be accomplished with a flapping head, maybe. Each rotation should be able to reset the circuit. Maybe add winglets that can be placed in the down wash...they'd reset between one blade passing and the next.
