The BS2-IC is widely used in educational, hobby, and industrial applications and is strongly recommended for first-time BASIC Stamp users because of plentiful resources (documentation, source code, and customer projects).
BASIC Stamp® 2 carrier board has 24-pin DIP socket for the BS2-IC, BS2E-IC, BS2SX-IC, and BS2P24 modules. The board also contains: through-hole prototype area, battery clip, and reset button. 9V battery is required (not included). Measures 8.1 x 6.6 cm.
I had installed 2 voltage regulator to the BasicStamp2 Carrier Board and some .100 pins for testing servos.
