Hi All,
I missed flying yesterday, but was @ the field this morning, where I met Don B., Mike, Duane (nice to meet you) and Glenn. Don told me that we will be meeting @ the GCRCC field on Saturday for ROGs and aerotowing. I assume that the date (one week early) is because of Toledo the next weekend - can anyone confirm?
Don
BTW - nice flying this morning - light winds and sunshine!

Yes, Don, that's it !
I think you didn't miss a lot yesterday, it was way too windy.
We did fly some, but at least in my case, with the Cumulus, it wasn't really fun.
Why is it that it blows a gale on Saturday ( my regular flying day), and the next day, when I can't get out, the weather is perfect ?
Must be some kind of conspiracy........:)
See you next Satuday,

It's not a conspiracy against you Michael, the wind was blowing simply because I was there! ;)

Looks like we're out of luck, weatherwise :

What's wrong Michael, you don't want to aerotow in a 20mph cross-wind? ;)
I guess this time of year you take your chances.

If I am going to crash, I wan't to atleast fly a bit before !
But with the weather they are forecasting for tomorrow, we probably wouldn't even get off the ground with some kind of mishap !
Hmm, just checked the forecast again :
partly cloudy, temps in the lower 40's, winds around 14 mph

No, Paul and I were in touch early Sat. morning, and we decided it wasn't worht it.
I went out to the VOA field around 10:30, but nobody was there.
And it was so cold and windy, that I didn't bother to unpack my stuff.
