Autos & G2

[Mr Rogers]

I've been practicing Autos on G2, and decided after reading Beav's posts
from a few days ago I was doing it all wrong (aka Kamakazii style).

I assume that I should set the collective such that in Normal mode it is
at -3 with stick full down?

The fake tranny that comes with G2 has a ratchet on the collective, does a
normal heli tranny have this? or is the ratchet missing? I actually find it
rather difficult to get the collective set just where I need it with the
ratchet.

If the fake xmitter is like any other, just open the back and remove the
ratchet mechanism. On my son's JR, I just turned the metal strip with the
tooth over so it still applied a little pressure to the stick, but it's
completely smooth now.
