Hi all,

I'm assembling equipment for a downlink video system and am looking at options for a monitor.

Can the video signal from a receiver (with a standard RCA plug) be connected to a television external 'over the air' antenna jack? There are some inexpensive pocket televisions that have a jack for an external antenna, but not audio and video jacks.

Thanks,
-Bob

You have to have a modulator to hook the audio and video signals to the external antenna jack.

A cheap LCD DVD player may be a better choice than a TV, as they usually have a composite video input jack.
