Lee Ulinger Models planes take 1st and 3rd place at the 2009 Thunder Power Stadium Shoot Out, Sportsman class.

Lee Ulinger Takes 1st place flying the Pocket Knife, and Tim Lime gets 3rd flying the new, and soon to be released Tbird.

Special thanks to Thunder Power and Hacker for powering the planes and putting on the show.

The competition took place last weekend, but I can't find any results. How many competitors? Who won in the "Expert Class"?

I know Mark Leesburg won the masters class not sure about the rest, but Ryan Archer and Matt Stringer were in the mix.
There were four in the sportsman class and Spencer Nardquist was second place. “I’m sure I butchered the spelling, Sorry Spencer”
I was not planning to do the contest but by Thursday afternoon organizers needed some more competitors and I was rushed into service.
I tell you now, it’s fairly simple to put on a good show but it is a whole other thing to do planed maneuvers to music with hundreds watching your every move, I was a bit nervous to start but by the third round I was calm. Next event I will be ready for the big boys.
