Perfect timing - I am on the point of ordering one! BTW, is the 350 motor the standard offering, or a Hobby Lobby special?

The 350 system is Hobby Lobby's recommended power system. I believe a geared 280 is standard, but the performance suffers significantly with the 280.

I think the Crazy Sparrow would be very sluggish with a regular Speed 280 motor (based upon flying mine I wouldn't bother). The Speed 280BB motor is the way to go - you have to decide whether to go with an MP Jet gearbox/280BB or the one supplied with the Acrodrive system. The airplane is very aerobatic and slows down nicely for landings.

i guess it's just a function of the discussion boards, but shouldn't the headline for the "Crazy Sparrow Review" link to the review, and not a message saying "Go Read the Review!"? Call me crazy.

Thanks for the url BleuBuck. That's perfect timing. My Hobby Lobby Crazy just arrived today. It looks very nice and appears to be extremely easy to assemble.
The one thing I don't like is the hollow plastic sound the wheels made when rolling on asphalt or hard ground (as in HLs video). I compared the 2.6" dia. stock wheels with some 2.5" foamies I have and for both the weight penalty is .27 oz. with the foam. You know how it goes, a little here and a little there and suddenly you have a brick. I'll have to think about it. The stock ones =are= very scale looking.
All in all I love it (still on sale at HL 'till July 5, I believe).
