works perfectly, but sorry, warranty expired Jan 21st 2009.

Keep the Airport.
The Actiontec and Westell routers with Fios are short range, have problems with interference from other wireless networks and devices [like cordless phones].
Set it up on a long cable from a Fios router Lan port to the Airport Wan port [so you can place it at a distance from the fios router and have 2 wireless networks available at different ends of the house].

thanks for the heads up, house is single story and not very large so range has not been an issue. it's only been a few days, but no trouble so far. will see what happens
