Ok, I've bought enough UAV, and FVP Items over ther last several years for a fleet of UAVs, But for some reason have never made it to flight line. This is about to change! I finally bought an airframe, (EZGlider Pro), But have stared at it for 3 weeks wondering how I would cram everything in without interference between the parts, and with accessablility to everthing. I have decided it can't be done without major mods. How about a group build to help me sort this all out. This is what I have.

1. Corona synth 8CH REC.
2. 40A ESC Turnegy Plush
3. Copilot sensor
4. Ardupilot +GPS Module
5. 3A BEC
6. OSD + GPS Module
7 2.4 500 MW Trans
8. KX 131 Cam
9. XBee 900 MHZ XSC modem
10 3S 2200 Lipo
11. 2S 1000 Lipo
12 Pan Tilt
13 Turnigy 1100 Outrunner.

I think the best route is to keep everything in the front bay. Xbee at the tail, 500 MW Trans and camera In the canopy. This means moving the motor to a pylon, and moving the ESC to the rear also. Way more complications than I wanted, but I see no other choice. It will really open up that front bay. I have what I need to do this, but I just hate metal working without good tool options, as all I have is a bench vise, and small angle grinder.

This is what I'm looking to do. And I have the motor in the pic.

The mount has me stumped. I just got back from the hobby store with 3/4" Teardrop shaped tubing, and .06" sheeting to make the mount. This suff is pretty thick! I have no idea how to get the nice sharp bends I see people here do. I can get 1 bend with the vice, but the others can't be done that way. Are there tools i'm not aware of? I also have some .03 sheeting that would be easier to bend, but it seems to flexible to use? The mount in the pic looks to be .06 to me.

Guidance with this first issue?

2nd issue. The folding prop stuff I got is now useless. I'm going with a standard pusher prop for now, and need a prop size for long battery endurace. I'd still like a little performance for hairy situations.

Have you checked out Scrtsqrl's EasyStar with EasyGlider wings? Very successfull project there, maybe reading through that thread will give you some ideas. I believe the thread title was "Big Wing EasyStar" or something to that extent.
