Hello guys, I don't know if there are many of these motors around, but if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
I basically have one question.

How are you mounting this motor? There seems to be no space between the rotating can and the mount. The mount is threaded and would only guess that you would use the screws to mount the motor coming from the back (the firewall) and using the motor mount holes as if they were the retaining nuts???

It just beats me... If anyone has a pic of this specific motor mounted I'd really appreciate some pics.

Well then thanks for your input!!
Best regards,
Homero

here is how i did mine (before i sold my plane)

This system was bulletproof, i could throw anything at that plane and never once did i have a problem

Great! Thanks edible engine, that's exactly how I thought it would go, expect I will be using a carbon fiber backplate and regular gasser engine spacers...
Again thanks for the pic!!
Best regards,
Homero

No probs Homero,

that method was 1/4" ply with 3 layers of texalium cloth on 1 side and 1 on the other, you could not twist it one bit, worked great ;) CF will work well, just make 100% sure its strong enough and also the spacers are spaced wide enough to spread the load, wider than a standard 100cc application! a 2kg mass spinning at 6000rpm sure makes some gyroscopic loads!
